CA Real Estate Broker License #00385396
Bill has been a real estate broker and a successful income property investor for over 40 years. An accomplished author and teacher, he brings industry-leading experience and credibility to every transaction.
Born and raised in Chicago, Bill graduated from Purdue University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He went on to earn his MBA from Northwestern University and began his career as an engineering/business consultant with ITT-Amour Institute of Technology in Chicago. In the late 1960’s, he relocated to Southern California, where he became a product line manager at Beckman Instruments.
Purchasing a duplex while still living in Chicago, Bill has long been a proponent of wealth-building through real estate. He obtained his State of California Bureau of Real Estate Broker’s License in 1972 and then went on to earn designations as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP/inactive).
During the course of his real estate career, Bill has put together nearly 60 Tenant in Common (TIC) transactions. Even with the erratic real estate cycle in California, not one of Bill’s properties has been lost through foreclosure.
In addition to serving as a Director Emeritus and a past-president of the Apartment Association of Orange County, Bill has authored numerous articles for Apartment News Magazine and has taught various real estate classes for the California Association of Realtors and Fullerton College.
